Israel strikes Hezbollah targets

Kochi: Fresh airstrikes by Israel on southern Lebanon 24 hours after the new ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah have reportedly claimed many lives.
BBC quoting the Lebanese state news agency said at least 11 people were killed in the attack by Israel military city of Nabatieh.
Justifying the attacks “Hezbollah terrorist targets”, the Israeli military accused Hezbollah of firing over 50 projectiles at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah has said that if Israel’s invasion of southern Lebanon persists, it will continue to target their military.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been under domestic pressure to continue military action against Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Shia Muslim political and military group in Lebanon.
Earlier this week, the US criticised the Israeli government’s military operation in Lebanon, saying it risks sabotaging the Iran-US peace deal.
However, President Donald Trump praised Netanyahu, calling him a “warrior”.
