Kochi: Actor Kundara Johny, Johny Joseph,
of Kireedam fame passed away following a heart attack today, media reports said.
He was 71.
Johny has acted mostly as villain in over 500 films including those like ‘Godfather’, ‘Inspector Balram’, ‘Aavanazhi’,’ Rajavinte Makan’, ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’ , ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, ‘Samooham’, ‘Chenkol’, ‘Aaraam Thampuran’, and ‘Varnapakittu’.
Johny’s maiden film Agniparvathan in Malayalam in 1979 Malayalam movie. His last one was ‘Meppadiyan’ released in 2022.
He has acted in other languages including
Vaazhkai Chakram and Nadigan in Tamil.
Johny Joseph is survived by Stella who is a faculty at a college in Kollam.
