Kochi: Online food distribution was affected across Kerala as workers of Swiggy started an indefinite strike in support of its demands including better remuneration, media reports said.
The workers led by unions including CITU, INTU, AITUC staged protest in front of Instamart in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Unions had shot letters to mamagement who rejected all the demands like increase in salary, a minimum guarantee of Rs 1,250 for full time workers. The unions said the strike will continue until all their demands were met.
Workers of Zomato observed a token strike on Monday showing allegiance with Swiggy workers.
