Kochi: Kerala Police rejected Drishyam fame actor Ansiba Hassan’s plea to book Tini Tom whom she accused of making communal and defamatory remarks against her.
The Kadavanthra police could not find any grounds for registering an First Information Report report against Tini.
The probe report was submitted to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ernakulam Central, The Hindu reported. Meanwhile, she moved a court seeking to book Tini.
Hassan had quit as Joint secretary of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) citing some reasons including
accusing Tom of harassing her.
Hassan had lodged a fresh complaint with the Palarivattom police against former AMMA president Shweta Menon, former AMMA vice president Lakshmipriya and the owner of an online channel alleging insulting her through defamatory, factually incorrect and sexually coloured contents.
Earlier, Hassan had moved a court in Tripunithura accusing Lakshmi priya and Sub Inspector Reshma of the Tripunithura women’s cell harassing Ansiba whose complaint was rejected by Thrikkakara Assistant Commissioner of Police.
