Kochi: A Bangladeshi woman was arrested in Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district for illegally residing in India, media reports quoting police on Thursday.
On getting an alert, a police team swung into action and nabbed the woman named Tasleema.
She was living with a Bihar native in Perumbavoor which is a settlement of a large number of migrant workers.
The police are investigating the matter, Ernakulam Rural SP Vaibhav Saxena said.
