Netanyahu rejects Trump’s Gaza plan

Kochi: Israel has rejected US’ 15-point plan for Gaza, stating that no military pull-out will happen until Hamas is “genuinely” disarmed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this at a cabinet meeting, BBC reported.
Trump’s Board of Peace said it had reached an agreement for the “complete disarmament” of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza.
Hamas said it will surrender its heavy weapons after Israel ended “all forms of aggression” and withdrew its forces from Gaza.
US President Donald Trump’s plan included the creation of the Board of Peace to oversee the agreement’s implementation, as well as the disarmament of Hamas, withdrawal of Israeli troops and reconstruction of Gaza.
Even as Netanyahu is not happy with Trump’s plan, the Israeli Premier will not upset his closest ally.
