Kochi: In a movie like climax, the father of the child delivered by his unwed lover, has come forward to marry her, media reports said.
The Kollam native agreed to marry his lover after he was summoned by police along with his parents in connection with the case.
The police also recorded the statement of the boy and girl.
His parents were also agreeable to the marriage, the reports said.
The 23 year old unwed mother had delivered her child in her hostel washroom in Kochi.
Her roomates were not aware of her pregnancy. The woman and child were admitted to the hospital. She did not lodge any complaint against her lover and father of the child.
