Kochi: The BJP continued its tirade in Bengal where its candidate Debangshu Panda won massively from Falta where
a repoll was held.
Panda won by a margin of 1,09,021 votes Sambhu Nath Kurmi of CPM.
Meanwhile, All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate Jahangir Khan, finished fourth with 7,783 votes.
Jahangir Khan, who ‘backed out’ just two days before polling, remained on the ballot, as per EC rules.
The BJP had won the polls ousting AITC from power in the polls held in April.
