Kochi: Actor and filmmaker Vijay Babu appeared before the investigation team in connection with a case related to rape, sexual abuse and identity disclosure of the survivor today.
Returning home from Dubai after remaining underground, Vijay went a temple before appearing in front of the investigation team.
The Kerala High Court had granted interim bail until Thursday.
The court, which allowed the investigation team to question him, will hear his anticipatory bail plea on Thursday.
The survivor has impleaded in the case
of the prosecution oppositing his bail plea.
The survivor had accused Vijay Babu of raping her and sexually abusing her in his flat in Ernakulam after intoxicating her without her knowledge.
As the survivor lodged a complaint against
Vijay Babu, he escaped abroad and have been evading arrest.
He had also posted allegations against the survivor by making her name public.
