Kochi: The Police arrested a woman for allegedly swapping her blood in place of her son who is accused of driving the car that killed two persons in Pune a few days back, media reports said.
She is accused of conspiring with him in changing the blood sample collected to test alcohol content, media reports quoting Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said.
His father and grandfather were earlier taken into custody. Two physicians from Sassoon Hospital were detained for allegedly tampering with the minor’s blood sample report.
The teenager’s father is a wealthy realtor in Pune. Two software engineers were killed when a Porsche driven by a suspected intoxicated teemager collided with their two-wheeler in Pune on May 19.
